since the end of february i have been working from home, because the covid-19 plague hit the world including in Jakarta. Initially, the laptop is placed on the table as usual. but because i must always stand-by because it must be responsive every time i got contacted from colleague, therefore it is more sitting in front of the computer than the as usually i do in the office or at the client's office. in the end it causing sore. unfortunately, I have  visual impairment so it is rather difficult to sit normally, because the screen is less readable. later i add a monitor which it's resolution is rather low, so the fonts aren't too small. but sore still happened. and then the trend of laptop's holder hit internet. well, in thi economy, i don't think i will follow the trend. finally a bright idea come across my mind, I use a binder. to hold the laptop. more or less it has the same functionality, isnt' it? add binder Well, at least it is somehow gives a bit ergonomic ...

i've served this company for more than 5 years. along with me there are several guys who's joining almost the same time with me. so we are buddies by time. and when effort and luck talks, so this buddy became a boss. and he's bossing me. wow, i'm so proud that my friend is now a boss. and he's bossing me. that's cool isn't it. later then i realized there are no such friend for a boss. my friend there, must choose, be friend with me or bossing me. and he choose the latest. so, it's my time to back off. i have to act he's my boss, no need friendly smirk, what i need is a subordinate smirk :)

hiyaaah!!! another paranoid from IT department! they [he] prohibited to run a Flash application such as game! i know, playing game is against the company rule. but seem it's overreacting. they [he] said that, such application, can be contained viruses. if that's the reason, why bother installing antivirus on each every computer?

after they hijacked my IP address , now they force me to change my IP [which is the last static IP address that client provided] into a DHCP one. and he - the one so called IT coordinator - promised me to get another static IP Address from IT global/regional. which i don't believe it. because several network problem that has to deal with IT regional/global end up in a pending or unsolved status. :( darn! and now, with this DHCP IP,-first thing in this morning-, i could not connect to share folder in one of the server. :(

this morning, although it's raining, the planned evacuation drilled still keep on going as schedule. in fact earlier than the scheduled time. so after walking down the stairs from 12th floor, we reach the ground floor, but there's no sign where to go. for me who already know where to go, i can find my self the meeting point. but for new employee, i believe is not easy to know what to do.
